Synopsis
What if global warming was happening a lot faster than everyone expected and we just didn’t know it?
During this movie, you’ll probably be asking yourself ‘What if’ a lot. So that’s why this fanlisting is called ‘What if’.
Paleoclimatologist Professor Adrian Hall (Dennis Quaid) comes up with a theory that the world will go into a second ice age in the near future. Soon after this assumption the world’s weather starts to change for the worst, and he starts to believe that it’s happening faster than he assumed. Most continue to ignore him until worldwide weather disasters begin to increase and get worse.
Professor Hall’s challenges begin to pile up. He must try to warn the world about the change in the climate, and save his son Sam (Gyllenhaal) who is in New York at the time of the crisis.
